“My time with Kym Chi and the Herbal Preparations course was a sacred journey through my relationship with plants. She slowed it down and allowed me the invitation and opportunity to connect on a deeper level. It became about more than the harvesting, preparation Or outcome of health...it was about alignment and listening ....deeply. First. Period. I appreciate the kind and gentle reverence Kym offered. My journey has begun anew with joy. Thank you Kym” - Mandy
“I love this class a lot and enjoy it tremendously. It opened my eyes to the medicinal use of many plants and mushrooms. It is wonderful to know something as common as weeds that can be rich in medicinal constituents. The course is informative and very inspiring. Most of the techniques were easy to follow. Now I have the basic techniques and plan to make some staple medicines for my family. I am sure I will keep learning and making more. I would definitely recommend this course to others.” - Jammy
“Gathering in a medicine kitchen with Kym as a warm, relaxed and informative mentor to learn about plant allies and how to make medicine and food was nourishing on many levels. Gaining skills and building relationships with plants, and other keen folks, was soul food indeed. Much gratitude!” - Jenn
“Grandma said when you come on something good, the first thing to do is share it with whoever you can find; that way, the good spreads out where no telling it will go.” That’s why I am spreading the news of this course because It is worth your time/energy and this is so timely to access new skills and wisdom as we navigate in these unprecedented health issues/pandemic. To be resilient is a motivation to be creative/innovative by tapping into our natural resources within our backyards and communities for health benefits, with care and responsible harvesting, this is what I have taken from this course. - Dharlyn
“Kym is an excellent, well informed, caring, patient, and thoughtful teacher. I learned so much from the Herbal Allies Preparations and Plant Allies course. I feel much more empowered to make my own medicines. I really appreciate that there are materials and videos to go back to. I highly recommend Kym as a teacher and her courses!” - Kelly
In these intense changing and sometimes frightening times, one needs a way forward that offers hope and strengthens our sense of self sufficiency. We are at the beginning of a very big shift in consciousness as humans. Deepening our connection with medicinal plants is a mind/body/spirit experience and one of the ways to help ourselves evolve our consciousness. Kym is deeply connected to nature and the plant allies that she works with. She models a way forward that inspires, motivates and energizes. She leaves you with all the tools you need to make huge strides forward in your relationship with medicinal plants. It is now a month after I finished the course and so much has shifted for me. I have deepened my connection with the land, the plants that grow on the land I care for and in the forests around me. I have made teas, tinctures, tonics, poultices, mead, and infused oils. We are using them, nourishing and healing ourselves. There are 10 plant allies that I feel drawn to and will work with over the next years. Half of these plants have been there in the garden these past 20 years, just waiting for me to come back to them. Kym created a way for me to rekindle, reconnect and expand my relationship with these plants. I am most grateful. - Karen
