• 2 Day Hands-on Permaculture Workshop – Sat & Sun

• Friday Night – Sound Healing Journey

• Saturday Night Music & Dance ~ with DJ Beat Farmer

• Sunday Morning – Movement / Chi Gong

• 2 nights camping at Abundance Farm ~ enjoy the gardens, orchard, river, mountain, hikes, dance floor, kitchen

Permaculture Design:
Food Forestry & Mycology

Tour gardens and natural spaces with a group of like minded people while exploring permaculture design methods, strategies and techniques for food forestry and mycological design.

Together we will :

• apply the natural forest’s design to your home garden
• discuss Permaculture growing techniques
• learn about designing with mycology and mushrooms
• discover food and medicine plants
• do design and integrative activities
• have an inspiring day learning and growing with nature

Social Permaculture:
Community and Collaboration

Join together with an inspiring group of likeminded group tp explore Social Permaculture in action.

-Apply Permaculture Principles and tools to social design
-Share skills and resources
-Review effective and inclusive decision making processes including dotmocrocy, consensus and sociocracy
-Learn different methods of conflict transformation
-Navigate group processes and find ways to collaboratively work together on shared aims.
-Explore tools of empowerment in groups


About the facilitators…

Kym Chi is a dedicated advocate of earth stewardship, people care and regenerative action for future resilience. To date; Kym has received 3 certificates in Permaculture Design, completed multiple teacher trainings, taken a variety of advanced trainings and completed a Diploma in Permaculture Education. Kym wishes to inspire creative self expression and value centred living to enrich and create healthy, abundant habitats and communities. With a focus on Social Permaculture, Kym mentors others on their life path and focusses on ways to support organizations and communities to become more cohesive and resilient. She lives on the West Coast of Canada where she is a community builder, creative facilitator, mentor, medicine woman and artist.

Chris Niebergall studies and teaches in the world of Mycology. He shares how mycelium can be your ally for food, medicine and creating sustainable designs.

• food for the weekend
• work gloves
• boots
• work clothes
• bathing suit
• yoga mat / blankets (Friday night sound journey)
• Potluck item to share on Saturday night
• All other food and personal items you need to be comfortable for the weekend

There is a community kitchen available for your use to prepare food. There are washrooms and showers on site for your comfort.

Please DO NOT bring your dog. If you are in the workshop you will not be able to provide the supervision a dog needs to be on the farm.
